Lovely peaceful place, beautiful building to stay in, in the sticks, but easy to get around to local amenities and beaches. Mrs G, Coventry, West Midlands 26 September 2010
Fantastic barn in a great location. Plenty of space, 5 star furnishings, all mod cons, brand new! Owners were friendly and helpful, provided stairgates cot and highchair. Absolutely loved it, would definitley stay here again if we were visiting that part of Devon. Mr E, Tonbridge, Kent 12 June 2010
Wonderful welcome, very high standars accommodation, close to many family amenities altogether a very wonderful family holiday. Mrs S, SALISBURY, Wiltshire 31 May 2010
What a beautiful place to visit! When we arrived at Glee Barn we were welcomed with cream tea and a lovely bottle of wine so this was lovely after a long drive.
There are so many places to visit such as Port Isaac where they film Doc Martin, so it is well worth a visit. Also, Clovelly and Padstow where they do a mean fish and chips from Rick Steins chippy. We visited Hoops Inn twice and both times we were not disappointed. We went to Westward Ho! beach which is a beautiful beach and our three kids had a great day. Back to Glee barn, there were 6 adults and 3 kids and even with this amount of people, there was pleny of room. The barn has been converted to a very high standard and we have no complaints at all about it - we will definitely return so thank you very much as we all had a fabulous holiday! What an amazing place to stay!! Glee Barn had everything we needed and was a great base for our family holiday. Tracey and Mark provided a very warm welcome, with a much needed cream tea after a long drive!! The barn is set in a beautiful, peaceful area, safe for young children to run around and explore, with lots of animals to play with and meet. Westward Ho beach is a must, a beautiful clean beach, with lifeguards, plus great fish and chips. Atlantis Adventure Park was great fun for the kids with both indoor and outdoor activities. The Eden Project was a great day out, although quite a long drive. The Hoops Inn serve fantastic food and are family friendly, with an extensive wine list for the adults to choose from!!
There is so much to do in the area we could have stayed for 2 weeks so we may well return, and we will definitely stay at Glee Barn if we do. Mrs F, Penrith, Cumbria 23 August 2009
First class accommodation, everything you need is supplied and the welcome from the owners was superb. Would book this place again without doubt. Mr F, KIDDERMINSTER, Worcestershire 27 July 2009
An excellent location, close to the coast and all of North Devons attractions including Atlantic Village Outlet Shopping. A barn, beautifully converted and maintained by friendly and welcoming owners. Mrs M, Isle Of Man, Isle Of Man 17 July 2009
